Janneke Janson-Goossens

Researcher/Advisor
Janneke has been working as Junior Researcher/Advisor within the Transport & Mobility team at Panteia since June 2023. Her study background is (Human Geography and) Spatial Planning: early 2023, she graduated from Utrecht University on the subject matter of transport poverty. Specifically, her master thesis concerned the juxtaposition of individuals’ experiences regarding transport poverty, versus perceptions, ideas, and indicators ‘from outside’ – such as researchers, policy- or decision makers.
Janneke is naturally driven to seek a deep understanding of a variety of issues, through doing research. She has a general interest in several societally relevant matters, but is mostly interested in practically applicable, specific subjects with a socio-spatial character.
At Panteia, Janneke currently contributes to projects within various fields of expertise, to work broadly on her skills and knowledge, and develop (as well as discover) her talents. Eventually, she will specialize in a certain thematic direction/field of expertise.
