Lucia Schlemmer

Lucia Schlemmer holds a Master’s degree in Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics from the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, as well as a Honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Cape Town. She has been working as a consultant for the Transport and Mobility team at Panteia since 2022, specialising in the fields of sustainable and inclusive urban mobility, land-use and mobility cohesion and international transport policy. Prior to that, Lucia worked as an associate at the Centre for Financial Regulation and Inclusion, where she worked on a variety of projects across Africa to promote the financial sector’s contribution to sustainable, inclusive growth for vulnerable groups and to promote urban resilience.
