Nora Cheikh is a researcher/consultant at Panteia and has been working at the Economics and Entrepreneurship department since 2019. Before joining Panteia, Nora studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where she obtained her master’s in Economics and Business (cum laude), specialising in policy economics. She has extensive experience with quantitative empirical research and qualitative policy analysis in several policy areas, including innovation/entrepreneurship, welfare, labour, education, agriculture, inequality, trade and immigration. Within Panteia, Nora has been involved in a variety of studies for (inter)national clients, relating to policy analysis and evaluation and survey analysis, such as the Survey on the Access to Finance of Enterprises (SAFE; European Commission and ECB) and the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). As a researcher, Nora has a special interest in applying econometric and statistical research methods to study the societal impact of economic and social policy.
