Transport corridors & Corridor development

National and international government bodies and companies are looking for economically viable solutions to improve the efficiency and sustainability of transport chains. As one of the leading companies in the field of transport research, Panteia is closely involved in initiatives to improve and ‘green’ national and international transport corridors. Panteia offers the private sector and governments insight into current and future transport flows based on advanced transport models, economic analyses of the costs and benefits of transport corridors and related investments, and tools to measure and compare corridor performance.

Panteia provides national and international government bodies and companies involved in transport corridors with a range of services, including:

  • Inventory and analysis of current and expected national and international goods flows.
  • Analysis of the “modal split” (modal split is the name given to the distribution of different types of transport within the entire logistics chain) and possibilities for “greening” corridors.
  • Development and monitoring of critical performance indicators of transport corridors, for example in the area of throughput time and costs.
  • Advice about corridor management.
