History
1930 Stichting Economisch Instituut voor den Middenstand was founded
Panteia's history starts on 10 July 1930, when the Stiching Economisch Instituut voor den Middenstand (the Economic Institute for Merchants) was founded. The name was later changed to the Economisch Instituut voor het Midden en Kleinbedrijf EIM (Economic Institute for SME).
1946 Foundation Nederlands Vervoerswetenschappelijk Instituut (NVI)
1957 Economisch Bureau voor het Weg- en watervervoer (EBW) separates from EIM
1958 Foundation of Instituut voor Psychologisch Markt- en motievenonderzoek (IPM)
1968 Foundation of Instituut voor Onderzoek van Overheidsuitgaven (IOO)
1969 Foundation of Administratie- en automatisering Centrum voor het Beroepsvervoer (ACB)
1980 Foundation Research voor Beleid
1986 NVI, EBW and ACB join forces and continue as NEA
1996 EIM takes an interest in IOO
2000 EIM Group is founded
In 2000, the EIM Group was founded. Over the years, a number of research and advice and consultancy organisations have joined EIM, including Stratus, Consult, and IOO.
2004 Research voor Beleid joins the EIM Group
2005 NEA joins the EIM Group
From this moment, the EIM Group continues as Panteia (Holding).
2007 IPM joins Panteia
2010 All agencies merge into Panteia BV
In 2010, all of the agencies mentioned above were merged. The newly formed Panteia BV is one of the largest research and advice agencies of the Netherlands
2016 Nimbus becomes shareholder of Panteia
2020 Nimbus buys MuConsult and Panteia starts intensive cooperation with MuConsult
2023 Research and advice company Revnext becomes part of the group
