Third progress report international railtransport presented at European Transport Council
Panteia worked, together with Mu Consult, on the third progress report for the International Rail Passenger Transport platform. On June 1, our minister Mark Harbers and the Austrian transport minister, Leonore Gewessler, presented this report in the European Transport Council. The report presents the progress of cooperation in areas such as ticketing, new international train connections, EU Green Deal and best practices in dealing with EU legislation.
In the platform, 25 European countries plus Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the rail industry and the EU work together in sharing knowledge to further develop international rail passenger transport. A progress report is published every year. Chris Wensink can tell you all about this project. If you have any questions, be sure to contact him.
