Since November 2023, Nelleke works as researcher/advisor as part of Panteia's Society and Economy team.

Before, she worked as impact officer at a company that is commited to the prevention of malaria. There, among other things, she was involved in developing a model to predict how many people are being protected against malaria by this company.

In 2021, Nelleke completed her master International Development Studies at Wageningen University, specializing in Development economics. Her dissertation focused on the effect of a Poverty Graduation Program on the emancipation of women. These are two topics with which she has a lot of affinity: the emancipation of women and poverty.

Within Panteia, she works on a diverse range of projects connected to various societal and economic issues.
