Marcelo Matias
Marcelo is a Researcher/Advisor Transport and Mobility at Panteia. He holds a Master's degree in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics from TUDelft (specialization: Transport Policy) and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Brasilia, Brazil. Marcelo has been working as a consultant in the field of transport and mobility in the Netherlands for the last 5 years, gathering experience in a range of transport planning projects including the Ring Road of Antwerp, Amsterdam Zuid Station and mobility transition strategies for Dutch municipalities.
Marcelo focuses on transport policy projects at EU and Dutch level, with the goal to integrate transport infrastructure within a wider territorial - spatial and governance - strategy. He has been involved in TEN-T corridor studies for the European Union, research on social aspects of transport and transport investment strategies for Dutch municipalities and provinces.
